Mmmm, pie. Wish I had a piece right now! Pie is definitely the right choice for us, but what are some other fun desserts (or non-desserts!) that you lovely followers are planning to display on your “cake table”?
First of all, thank you! As for the cake, I think the bottom line is that you can do anything you want! When it comes down to it, it’s your wedding, and you and your fiancé can decide to do things however you feel best represents the two of you and your relationship. I’ve seen everything from having pizza in lieu of the traditional cake to having a sundae bar instead of anything remotely cake-like. I think the cheese wheels would be an adorable non-traditional “cake”! My man and I are actually planning on serving pie, since neither of us are particularly fond of cake. That’s what’s great about planning a wedding—you get to plan it!
So, I’m pretty set on having a big white tent reception. With twinkly string lights and a big ol’ dance floor?! Perfection.
Although my Mr. and I aren’t planning on getting married in a church, I think this is such a beautiful and classic setting for a wedding ceremony.
I looove the back of this dress. The front is…eh. But the buttons! And lace! And open back!
